*Itachi’s POV*
Looking up wide eyed when Eri suddenly appeared in front of me before something could hit me. Instead her hand hit it away. The tracker ninjas stared wide eyed. “How is that even possible for you to stand let alone move?” they asked all of them standing to their feet. Well the two that was left that I haven’t gotten to killing yet.
“I’m a medical ninja. Did you really think something as simple as targeting my systems network could kill me? I simply put chakra surrounding my organs and my veins protecting them so no damage could happen to them” she said staring blankly at the people in front of her.
“Simple? That waste half of my chakra” the tracker ninja shouted pissed off.
“Pathetic. You all are” she said and suddenly they dropped to the ground. “You didn’t even notice the attack that I did during that lightning style attack” she said turning her back to them. Her hat completely gone as her hair blew in the wind but kept the shape that her hair was already in.
“Why you” one of the ninjas started to say but his face fell to the ground dead. Staring at Eri as she walked.
‘What in the world’ I thought staring as her back surprised by her. Slowly starting to follow her as she took off her completely torn to shreds cloak and hung it on her shoulder. Her hat no longer existed except for a pile of ash back there.
*Eri’s POV*
We stopped to take a break right now. I was leaning against a tree wincing slightly. I could still feel the pain that was put on my body from earlier. “Why did you take that hit and not leave me to take it?” Itachi asked. Bending one of my knees and rested one arm on it as I leaned into the tree more.
“Because if you died then there would have been no point in me coming here to begin with. Plus I also knew how to protect myself from the attack. I’m not a medical ninja for nothing” I said taking in a breath of the nice and cool air. “And plus if you were killed then I would feel pretty stupid for my eyes not seeing that happen” I stated scratching the back of my head. He just stared at me. I hadn’t deactivated my eyes yet and right now I don’t plan on doing that until we get back.
*Pain’s POV*
Looking up when I heard the door open. In walked Eri and the new member. “The new member to the Akatsuki” I said as Eri walked over to a wall and slide down it in a sitting position one knee bent as her arm rested on it breathing a little hard.
“Awe. What’s the matter Eri. Out of shape” Orochimaru said smirking only to get a lightning style jutsu shooting towards him and when he dodged that her foot made contact with his face sending him flying backwards.
“Awe. What’s wrong Orochimaru. Getting old” She shot right back as she landed on Zetsu. Zetsu didn’t mind though seeing as he kind of enjoyed her company. An amused look appeared on everyone else’s faces at her comment to him.
“Everyone Itachi Uchiha” Eri said opening her arms as she said Itachi’s name. Zetsu tossed Eri into the air where she flipped so she could land on her feet.
She ran out of the room towards the kitchen. “Eri. I’m sending you back out as soon as you are finished eating” I said and she popped her head out of the kitchen.
“Where will I be sent this time?” she asked and popped a piece of breed in her mouth and went back into the kitchen making herself something to eat.
“To your old home. I want all their secret files. Understand?” I asked.
“Yeah Yeah. Simple I guess” she said making everyone laugh at her as she ran out of the kitchen and up to Itachi shoving something in his hands and ran out. “I’ll be seeing you all later. See you losers” She shouted running off. Also noticing that some of our chakra and medicine was missing.
“I swear that girl is insane” Konan said making me smirk at this.
“That’s why we have her. She’s insane but very affiant” I said as I saw what Eri gave Itachi it was a sandwich making me laugh. Eri was random. Itachi looked down at it. “Eat it Itachi. She’s knew you were hungry” I said and he looked over his shoulder getting and amused look on his face as he did start to eat it.
*Itachi’s POV*
Looking up when there was a knock on my door. It was Pain. He looked at me. “I’m sending you out to help Eri” he said. It’s been a week days since Eri left which was rather long to get what was needed. Standing up.
“Where did you send her?” I asked and he just tossed me a map. Leaving.
*Eri’s POV*
Looking up as I leaned against a tree breathing hard. It took me forever to loss all those ninjas after me. Then also all the files were weighing me down. Standing to my feet knowing I couldn’t linger for long. Taking off again only to run into Itachi which surprised me. Leaning against a tree as we stopped.
“What was taking you so long?” he asked.
“I don’t think it would have been a good idea to bring a whole village to the Akatsuki base now would it” I said breathing slightly hard as I readjusted the two bags with the files in it. He reached out and took one of them.
“You’re pretty beat up” he stated. Glaring slightly at this.
“Yeah well. Whatever. Let’s go” I said as we were about to take off those ninja’s found me again. “Tsk. Hound dogs” I said and it caught his attention hearing the dogs.
“You really do have your hands full” he said making me annoyed by it.
“Yeah well you know” I said moving faster and looked up at the sky preforming hand signs. Clouds started to gather.
‘What you doing?” he asked.
“Washing our sent away” I answered.
“The files will get wet” he said.
“No they won’t. They are in water proof bags” I said and it started to rain heavy.
“Why didn’t you do this from the start?” he asked.
“Because this isn’t my chakra nature and it uses up to much chakra” I answered. “I wouldn’t do this if someone isn’t with me” I added glancing at him. Getting soaked to the bone with Itachi as we traveled through the rain hearing the ninja’s that was following us getting farther and farther behind. Reaching back and popped a chakra pill into my mouth and moved my hand to my left shoulder and started healing myself. Not noticing that Itachi was watching me from the corner of his eyes.
“You know. I may not know you at all. But you seem too nice to be in the akatsuki” I said looking at him getting a confused look from him. “I don’t think you killed your clan out of cold blood it what I’m saying in other words” I said making him freeze for a split second but I didn’t notice because I was more focused on moving my hand to my left him and started healing the huge gash that was there.
